JM Construction (Leeds) Ltd has won a prestigious building industry award for its Victoria Riverside development in Hunslet.

The company received the award for ‘construction specialist of the year’ for the Yorkshire region in the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2021. They now go forward to the national finals in London in January.

The LABC awards recognise the best in quality, standards, technical innovations and sustainable designs at a local level. They also take into account the working relationship between the developer, contractors and local authority building control.

John Mulleady, Managing Director of JM Construction, said: “It is a tremendous honour to win this award which acknowledges the hard work of the entire team, including our professional services suppliers, for building excellence in the delivery of outstanding construction and workmanship.”

The architects for the development are Bradford based Beckwith Design Associates Ltd.
